K9 Barry 12-01-2014

It is with great sadness and a very heavy heart that I report the passing of retired patrol dog K9 Barry. Barry started his career at the Lake County Sheriff Department in April of 2007 and retired in June of 2013. During his service as a patrol dog, K9 Barry came to work every day enthusiastic and ready for duty no matter what the call was. When Barry was not chasing criminals or searching for narcotics, he loved to interact with the public. Barry will always be missed but never forgotten.

Rest in peace Barry and thanks for being my partner and always having my back!
